What we collect

When you use HomeShot, we collect the video file you upload (to process it into listing photos) and, optionally, your email address (to notify you when your photos are ready).

How we use it

Your video is processed solely to extract and enhance listing photos. Your email, if provided, is used only to send you a notification when processing is complete. We do not use your data for any other purpose.

What we don't do

We do not sell your data or share your content with third parties for advertising. Your video is only used internally to process your listing photos and to improve our service. We will never publish your content or make it publicly accessible.

Data retention

Your original video and processed photos are stored securely for up to 90 days. We may retain them longer to evaluate and improve our photo enhancement technology — for example, by re-processing your video after pipeline updates to verify quality improvements.

You can request deletion of all your data at any time by emailing support@gethomeshot.com. We will delete your video, photos, and any associated data within 48 hours.

Payment data

All payments are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see, store, or have access to your credit card details.

Third-party processing

To analyze and enhance your photos, we use third-party AI services that process images on our behalf. These services do not retain your content after processing is complete and are contractually prohibited from using it for their own purposes.

Cookies & analytics

We use PostHog for product analytics (session data, page views — no personal information) and the Meta Pixel for ad attribution. No cookies are used to personally identify you.
